A kick up from plain cream cheese
stuffed celery appitizers.
I make this when strawberries
are red ripe and garden fresh.
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
8 celery sticks
Directions:
In a blender or food processor,
combine the cream cheese,
confectioners sugar, and strawberries.
Pulse until smooth and well blended.
Wash, pat dry and cut the ends off of celery.
Peel the celery to remove the stringy parts.
Cut celery into 4" bite site pieces.
Stuff celery with strawberry cream cheese.
Chill until ready to serve.
