The cooking style of this recipe
makes for crispy chicken wings.
The sauce is great and it is given
an interesting texture because of the humus.
Frying the wings in oil to start with does a
good job of cooking most of the fat off of the wings.
Add hot sauce or spices to the chicken
wing sauce if you like your wings spicy.
If you like your chicken wings extra crispy,
broil them in the oven for the last 5 minutes or so.
Ingredients:
Wing Sauce:
•1/4 cup mustard
•1/4 cup bbq sauce
•1/4 cup honey garlic sauce
•1 tbsp butter
•2 tbsp humus
Chicken Wings:
•2 tbsp cooking oil
•2 lbs chicken wings
Directions:
Wing Sauce:
Mix the wing sauce ingredients
together in a small saucepan.
Stir on low heat until the different
ingredients melt into each other,set aside.
Chicken Wings:
Put oil and chicken wings into large frying pan,
cook for 8 minutes on medium heat.
Flip all of the wings and cook for another 8 minutes.
Take the wings out of the frying pan
and place them on a large baking sheet.
Brush the wing sauce onto both sides of the chicken wings.
Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
