7-Up Basting Sauce 7-Up Barbeque Sauce

This is just about the best tasting sauce
to baste on when grilling chicken.
It's just sweet enough and because there's
no sugar you can use it without the fear
of burning on the grill.It's got just the right
amount of lemon flavor, this is a good one.
Recipe makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup 7-Up
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
Dash of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Blend ingredients in a saucepan
and heat just until simmering.
Remove from heat. Baste poultry
or fish every 15 minutes during
the broiling or grilling period.
