I put this fantastic cream cheese
frosting on almost every cake I make!
You see, instead of the usual cream cheese,
butter, confectioner's sugar combo,
I uses cream cheese, heavy whipping cream,
and confectioner's sugar.
It makes for a light, creamy frosting.
Ingredients:
8oz Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
Directions:
Lightly whip the cream cheese until smooth,
sift over the confectioners' sugar
and then beat them both together.
Add the cream and beat again until it
makes a spreadable consistency.
Use as a frosting for baked and cooled cakes.
