Butter Braised Carrots
in Orange Gran Marnier

This is a recipe for orange sauced carrots.
Using Gran Marnier in a butter cream sauce.
It's not sweet like some glazed carrots are.

Ingredients:
1 pound of whole carrots
1/2 cup Gran Marnier
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cream
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Cook carrots in a large skillet, covered,
in a small amount of water over medium
heat until almost tender. Drain.
Add the butter, cream and Gran Marnier and heat slowly,
(Do Not Boil)stirring until liquid is reduced by half
and carrots have absorbed the Gran Marnier flavor.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
