Fresh corn on the cob is a picnic favorite of mine,
With this recipe it's made even better drizzled with
a tasty blend of fresh herbs and melted butter.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
4 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
4 teaspoons chopped fresh basil
4 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Directions:
Place the butter, herbs, salt,
and lemon zest in a bowl and mix together.
Transfer to a piece of waxed or parchment paper
and roll into a log or place in a small bowl
and refrigerate until firm.
Slice and serve with warm, cooked corn on the cob.
