Macaroni Chickpea Soup

If you like chickpeas like I do you'll love this soup.

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups dry macaroni
1 cup stewed tomatoes
3 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
1 cup water
1 cup green beans
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Combine together water and chicken broth
in a large saucepan and bring this mixture to boil.
Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low.
Then add macaroni, oregano and celery flakes to this mixture.
Allow it to boil for about 4 minutes, with occasional stirring.
It should be followed by the addition of
green beans, stewed tomatoes, garlic powder and chickpeas.
Simmer it for about 5 minutes,
until the beans and macaroni become tender.
