This is a simple recipe with hot dogs and beans.
I'd give it five stars if I was rating this one.
I wanted to sweeten hot dogs and beans up a little
to serve at the kids sleep over party, and keep it easy.
The kids loved it and the grown ups couldn't get enough!
This is a good one!
Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) packages hot dogs, cut into diagonal pieces
2 (8 ounce) cans pineapple chunks, undrained
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries, chopped
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 (16 ounce) cans baked beans with onions
1 (16 ounce) cans baked beans with bacon
1/4 cup chopped red onion
Directions:
After cutting up the hot dogs, fry them in oil
just to get a little color on both sides of them.
Place hot dog pieces, pineapple, onion, brown sugar,
cherries and baked beans into a slow cooker.
Cook on high for 15 minutes, turn down to low,
and let simmer until ready to serve.
This dish can be kept on low forever.
