Stuffed Mushrooms with
Sausage, Bacon and Cheese

Stuffed mushrooms with sausage, bacon,
two cheeses, garlic and onion.
Make plenty of these because they
will be the hit of your next event.

Ingredients:
2 lbs medium to large mushrooms
1/2 lb pork sausage
1 small onion, chopped finely
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 lb pepperoni, chopped finely
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup Italian style bread crumbs
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan

Directions:
Remove mushroom stems, chop and set aside.
In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat,
cook sausage until browned.
Remove sausage allowing it to drain
reserving 2 tablespoons of the drippings.
Add stems to drippings and cook until tender.
Add onion, garlic, pepperoni, and bacon.
Cook about 3 minutes. Remove from heat
and add in sausage, cheese and crumbs. Mix well.
Fill mushroom caps with mixture and bake for 15 minutes.
