This is a recipe for the sauce I use
to slather on pork ribs when smoking them.
It contains some bourbon in it, you can
substitute 3 additional tablespoons
apple cider if you must.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup apple cider
3 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions:
Melt the butter in a medium nonreactive
saucepan over medium heat.
Add the cider, sugar, bourbon and soy sauce,
stirring to combine. Reduce the heat to low
and keep warm until ready to use.
