Bean Sauce

This is so good I use it on pasta.
A simple and easy sauce to make.
The beans are cooked but not used,
they make this sauce so creamy good.
Everyone asks what the secret is.

Ingredients:
2 cups dried navy beans
6 cups water
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard, whole seed
2 tablespoons sweet smoked paprika
1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 onion, peeled and chopped
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 Tablespoon vinegar
Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
Dash of Liquid Smoke
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Soak beans overnight in a soup pot.
The next day add all other ingredients.
Bring to a boil, lower heat to a simmer.
Simmer for 3 hours until beans are soft.
Remove beans for another purpose.
Bring sauce to a boil and cook down,
until you reach your desired thickness.
