Cuban Sandwiches

Grilled Cuban Sandwiches are pressed
sandwiches made with dill pickle,
swiss and provolone cheese,
along with ham and turkey breast.
What makes it 'Cuban' is the pressing.
Place a heavy skillet on the sandwiches
as they cook in a skillet, then turn,
weight the sandwiches, cook until golden.

Ingredients:
8 soft French rolls or Kaiser buns, split
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup mustard
16 dill pickle slices
4 slices leftover roast pork
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices deli ham
4 slices Provolone cheese

Directions:
Preheat panini grill, indoor grill, or skillet.
Spread butter on the cut sides of rolls,
then spread mustard on them.
Make sandwiches using the coated split rolls,
using pickles, Swiss, ham, Provolone,
and roast pork, layering in the order provided.
Place sandwich on grill, close cover,
and press down if necessary,
Grill for 4-5 minutes until
sandwiches are crisp and hot.
