This is one recipe that I use on
pizza dough which is very good.
Ingredients:
15 oz tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ cup water
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 bay leaf
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
Combine everything in a pan and cook over
a medium heat until the sauce comes to the boil.
Turn the heat down and simmer the sauce, covered,
for 35 to 45 minutes or until it has thickened.
Remove the bay leaf and let the sauce
cool for a few minutes before using it.
