When I was young I wouldn't touch liver.
Tastes change and this is a good recipe.
I'm sure this is served at every diner.
Ingedients:
1 large onion, peeled and sliced
1 lb. beef liver, washed
4 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Cook onions in butter until softened.
Remove onions and keep warm and
reserve pan and drippings for liver.
Dry liver with paper towels
and add to left over butter
and onion bits in the pan.
Sprinkle liver with salt and pepper.
Cook 3 minutes on each side.
Serve liver smothered in onions
