It's funny how many bread pudding
recipes I have made over the years.
Everything from soup to nuts, and now
this is a very good bread pudding using
Martin's potato rolls and fresh apples.
The texture is amazing, it didn't fall
and you can cut it with a knife.
Ingredients:
4 Martin's potato rolls
4 apples, peeled and sliced
3 eggs
1/@ cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon/sugar
Directions:
In a mixing bowl combine eggs, vanilla and milk.
In a bowl combine apples, sugar and salt.
Cut rolls into 1" pieces and add to milk mixture.
Mix to combine and let sit 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Pour apples and liquid into bowl with bread.
Gently mix by hand just to combine.
Pour into a buttered casserole dish,
sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly on top and bake
for about an hour or so, until top is browned.
Remove and let cool 20 minutes before serving.

I just want to clarify the amount of sugar needs. I am not sure what "1/@" means. Must be a typo. Thanks! I really want to try this recipe because I have a ton of Martin's Potato buns leftover.
1" = 1 inch sized
or 1x1 inch size squared
