This is a favorite recipe for making
a very good sauce used to top hot dogs.
It's got a tomato/ mustard base to it,
with ground beef, herbs and spices.
The longer it cooks, the better the flavor.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 medium onions, diced small
1 can (15 oz. size) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz. size) water
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Directions:
Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain.
Place all ingredients in saucepan
and simmer for a good 2 hours.
