This is a good recipe fo making
some young, tender and sweet tasting
fresh from the garden brussel sprouts.
Ingredients:
4 cups brussel sprouts
1/3 cup maple syrup
Pepper to taste
Directions:
Remove and discard tougher outer
leaves from larger sprouts.
Wash well, drain, cut in half,
and place in a large frying pan with
a small amount of cold water.
Cover the pan and steam at a
medium temperature until sprouts are tender
when pierced (about 5 minutes). Drain any
remaining water off the sprouts.
Add maple syrup and toss to coat.
Add ground black pepper to taste.
