This is very popular at the
county fairs and festivals.
Brown and crunchy on the outside,
soft and creamy good on the inside.
Serve these with a garlic mayonaise.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoonfuls melted Crisco
4 tart apples
Milk
Flour
Directions:
Peel and core and slice apples,
then dip in milk, toss in flour,
and drop into hot Crisco to brown.
