Plain Donut
Bread Pudding

I like to use plain donuts or cruelers
to make this tasty bread pudding dish.
This recipe is so creamy and custardy good.

Ingredients:
6 plain donuts
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
unsalted butter
cinnamon sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Cut up donuts and place in a food processor.
Pulse to get a bread crumb consistancy.
In a mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, sugars,
vanilla, cinnamon and salt to taste.
Pour wet mixture into dry crumbs and let sit
for a good ten minutes to soak into crumbs.
Butter and sugar a covered casserole dish.
Pour mixture into casserole dish,
spinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake
for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until done.
Let cool 20 minutes before serving.
