This is the way I cook the best tasting
mouth-watering, fork tender rib-eye steak.
Steak sauce not needed for these rib-eyes.
Let the natural flavors of the beef come out.
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 rib-eye steaks
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Heat oil in oven-proof skillet.
Sear seasoned steaks well
only on one side, about 2 minutes.
Carefully transfer skillet
to hot oven–do not turn steaks.
cook about 12 minutes, more or less,
to your desired doneness.
Put on a plate crusty side up,
and add a pat of butter
to top of each steak.
