A quick and easy to make crab salad
served inside fresh avocado halves.
You can also use imitation crab meat.
Ingredients:
4 pitted avocado halves
1 /2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped basil
Pinch of black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
Pinch of salt
8 ounces lump crabmeat
1 celery stalk, peeeled and chopped
Directions:
Halve avocados, sprinkle with lemon juice.
In a medium bowl, whisk together
mayonnaise, basil and a pinch pepper.
Whisk the garlic into the mayonnaise.
Stir in 8 ounces lump crabmeat
and chopped celery.
Divide the crab salad among
4 pitted avocado halves.
