These are great served with
a creamy bacon-ranch dressing.
You can spice these up a bit
by adding some cayene pepper
to the breadcrumbs but I like
the way they taste just plain.
Ingredients:
20 ripe cherry tomatoes
1 large egg
1/4 cup milk
Italian flavored dry bread crumbs
Canola oil for deep frying
Bacon-Ranch salad dressing
Directions:
Preheat oil in deep fryer.
Wash, de-stem and dry tomatoes.
In a small bowl whisk egg and milk.
Place breadcrumbs in another bowl.
Dip each tomato in egg-wash then
roll in breadcrumbs and deep fry.
Remove when golden brown to drain
on paper towels, then serve.
