Poached Fresh Peaches

Having more peaches than
I know what to do with,
I simply put ten of them
in a large soup pot and then
covered them with cold water.
Bring to a boil and then
turn off heat leaving pot
on warm burner for 1 hour.
Drain and peel, slice and
place in plastic bags for
freezing or for refrigerating.
