Made with ground beef and beans
this is a mild tasting chili.
You can spice it up with cayene.
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground chuck
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
4 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 (14 ounce) cans pinto beans
1 (14 ounce) can red kidney beans
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package chili seasoning
black pepper to taste
Directions:
In a large soup pot brown ground beef.
Drain grease and add onions and peppers.
Add all canned items, including juice,
into the large soup pot stirring.
Cook until onion and peppers are tender.
Season with black pepper to taste.
