Great Corned Beef
Potatoes and Cabbage

The secret here is to cook the
corned beef first, remove it,
and cook the potatoes and then
the cabbage in the
corned beef cookin liquid.

Ingredients:
1 corned beef
2 large russet potatoes
1/2 head of fresh cabbage
water
mustard on the side

Directions:
Remove corned beef from package and
place in a soup pot, cover with water
to about two inches above beef.
Remove beef and bring water to a boil,
add beef to pot and reduce heat
to a slow simmer for 3 hours.
Remove beef from pot and set aside.
Add peeled cut up potatoes to water.
Bring to a boil and then simmer
20 minutes or until fork tender.
Remove potatoes from water,
add cabbage and cook until tender.
Cut beef into serving pieces and
place in water with cabbage and
the potatoes to heat through.
Serve with prepared mustard on the side.
