Philippine Fishball Sauce

This is a recipe for fishball sauce
on par with those from the Philippine
street and sidewalk fishball vendors.

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon all purpose flour
2 tablespoon low-salt soy sauce
finely chopped onion and garlic

Directions:
Dissolve brown sugar, cornstarch, flour
and soy sauce with water on a sauce pan.
Bring to a simmer until the sauce thickens
Transfer on a saucer or sauce jar
and add finely chopped garlic, onion.
