Imagine serving creamy pumpkin ice cream
right out of a hollowed out pumpkin.
The kids will go crazy for this stuff.
Ingredients:
1 hollowed out fresh pumpkin
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
Directions:
Place pumpkin in refrigerator to cool.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin,
sugar, salt, ginger, cinnamon and
nutmeg and mix until well blended.
Stir in vanilla ice cream and fill
the cooled fresh pumpkin.
Put in freezer 1 hour before serving.
