Sauted apples in butter makes for
a great tasting side dish served
with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
8 medium Granny Smith apples, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy skillet
over medium-low heat. Add apples,
brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Saute 15 to 20 minutes,
or until apples are tender.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
