In this recipe you saute sour apple
with sweet butter and cinnamon.
Then mix it into creamy cottage cheese.
This is a good side dish with pork.
Ingredients:
2 Granny Smith apples
2 tablepoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pint cottage cheese
Directions:
Peel apples and cut around core to
make little square apple cubes.
Place in a bowl with cinnamon and sugar.
Toss to coat diced apple all over.
Heat butter in a saute pan and add apples.
saute a few minutes until softened.
Remove from saute pan and refrigerate
until cold enough to add to cottage cheese.
Mix to combine and refrigerate until served.
