Almost every time I make a pie,
even with store bought pie crust
when I have some dough left over.
I make these cinnamon sugar twirls.
Ingrdients:
pie crust dough
cinnamon sugar
salt to taste
Directions:
Roll out dough on a work surface,
sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Cut in 1/2 inch strips and
roll each strip into twirls.
Place on a baking pan and bake
until just browned, do not burn.
Remove and sprinkle with salt.
Serve warm or room temperature.
