Best Bisquick Waffles I've Ever Had

This is by far the best waffle recipe
I've ever made using a Bisquick mix.
Using a non-stick waffle maker these
great waffles only take minutes to make.

Ingredients:
1/2 to 3/4 cups milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 heaping tablespoons Bisquick mix
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Pre-heat waffle maker.
In a bowl place milk,oil,vanilla,
sugars, cinnamon and salt.
Add Bisquick mix add stir with
a fork or a wisk to combine well.
Pour one tablespoon batter onto
waffle maker and close, and cook
until lightly browned.
Remove from waffle maker using a
fork and repeat until all batter is used.
Serve with butter and real maple syrup.

4 heaping tablespoons Bisquick mix?

Ya when I use a tablespoon to scoop out the Bisquick it's in heaping spoons. And all you need is 4 tablespoons.

Just made your recipe. At first I was skeptical because it called for so little bisquick. I made it according to the recipe and my husband loved them. The secone batch I used heaping tablespoons of both sugars since I was looking for something a little more sweet. Very pleased with the outcome. Will make again with my modifications. Thanks for sharing.

Wow these waffles are amazing!
Only four heaping tablespoons,
this is a recipe I'll remember
to make for ever, it's a keeper.

I added in some blueberries,
very good recipe...

Made these and they came out great tasting fluffy waffles.
I added in some fresh diced apple
and it was even better than I expected.

Made the recipe the same way... had too many people to feed so I thought I would double it. Ran out of vanilla extract while using. But a tbs in waffle maker and it turned out flat and salty. Didn't spread well but was to thin to make decent waffle. Added 3 more tbs bisquick and it was thick enough to use waffle maker. I would not use this recipe again. Have tried many recipes andall have at least come out ok but this is the first one I was treuly dissapointed with!

This recipe came out great, nice and fluffy and good tasting. I didn't try a double it.

These don't work. They are very crumbly and fall apart since there is no egg. The taste is fine, but texture is not.

This Works to make great waffles.
I followed the the recipe to the T.
Using my electric waffle maker
and in no time had some really
good tasting Bisquick waffles.
Yummy with melted butter and a
soft boiled egg on top of it.

The batter had no thickness to it and created a nicely fried goop with a slightly brown exterior in the waffle maker. Used fat free milk, but wouldn't see where that would matter.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS

These are terrible. The batter was too thin and never came together in the waffle maker.
Just made a mess to clean up.
I won't be trying this again.

These are ok. Def too much salt and it only made two regular sized waffles. The texture is more spongey so set your iron to the brownest setting to get the most crunch. The cinnamon and sugar is nice though, I would make these again (with less salt) if I wanted waffles just for one person.

I had to add extra flour and sugar cause after adding the milk it was too thin.
Good thing I added too much cinnamon cause the outsides burned and the insides were undercooked. So all I could taste was doughie cinnamon with a hint of fire.
Wouldn't have eaten this if it wasn't the day before payday

I am trying these now and I believe the mixed results people are having is due to the type of waffle maker. We have a Belgian (deep) waffle maker, and these didn't cover the squares once cooked. My in-laws have a more shallow waffle maker and my husband says these would probably produce the more desired results in such a maker. The flavor is great- just what I add to mine. They are crispy and very yummy. If you have a non-Belgian maker, give these a try!!

Same here.

These are great if you add a bit more sugar and instead of 4tbsp bisquick, add abt 1 unlevel cup of bisquick. Thickens up the batter a bit.

I agree. Salty disaster!

Complete and utter failure!!! 4 heaping tablespoons, that's not a real measurement, and entirely too little bisquick mix to make anything that resembles waffles!!
