Baked Fresh Avocado Wedges

A fine alternative to french fries,
these bakes avocado wedges are crispy
and taste great along with a dip.

Ingredients:
2 Hass Avocados
1/2 cup cold water
1 ttablespoon corn starch
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and peel them.
Cut each avocado into eight lengthwise wedges.
In a mixing bowl, combine the water and corn starch.
In another mixing bowl combine the cornmeal,
onion powder, salt and ground black pepper.
Dip each wedge of avocado into corn starch mixture,
then dip it into the cornmeal to coat the avocado.
Place wedges on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes,
or until the cornmeal is lightly browned and crispy.
