Cornbread with Frozen Corn

Frozen corn baked right in the batter
this is a basic cornbread that you ca
make plain or sweeten it up with sugar.
I sometimes kick it up with some peppers.

Ingredients:
1 cup white flour
1 cup corn meal
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup frozen corn, thawed

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Spray to coat a 9 inch cake pan.
In a bowl combine dry ingredients.
In another bowl blend egg, milk and oil.
Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients
and stir to just combine into a batter.
Stir in thawed frozen corn and pour
batter into prepared cake pan.
Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes.
