Using Frozen Mussels

I never cooked with frozen mussels thinking fresh
mussels cook up so fast why get the frozen ones.
Was I wrong in not using the frozen cooked kind.
These heated up in no time at all, were nice and big,
so I threw them into a tomato sauce for pasta.
Have a bag of these in the freezer for a quick meal.

Ingredients:
24 frozen mussels
1/2 cup water
1 cup tomato sauce
cooked pasta of your choice

Directions:
Heat water in a large sauce pan, add in frozen mussels
and heat them just until the shells open, remove mussels.
Reserving liquid in pot, remove mussels from shells.
Add the tomato sauce in pot until heated then turn off heat.
Add the cooked mussels in with the sauce, serve over pasta.
