I always thawed steaks before cooking.
Then one day after forgetting to thaw it,
I decided to cook one from frozen,
put the steak in a saute pan in oil to brown on
both sides, then in the oven at 350 degrees F.
until internal temperature reached 125 degrees F.
The result was a perfectly cooked steak.
Crusty browned on the outside and just about
cooked to medium rare on the inside.
It took 30 minutes to cook from start to finish.
