Orange Chicken

This is a good one,a little involved but well worth it.
When I serve this the kitchen table is very quite
except for the remarks that this is really really good.

Ingredients:
1 chicken,cut up parts
4 oranges, sliced
2 carrots,peeled
2 celery stalks,peeled
1 onion,peeled and sliced
2 garlic cloves,peeled and crushed
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon smoked paprica
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
water
olive oil

Directions:
Place chicken parts in a pot,
cover with salted water.
Bring to a boil and turn off heat.
Let chicken sit in hot water 10 minutes.
Remove chicken to cool,and pat dry.
In bowl combine brown sugar,paprica,salt,and pepper.
Spread all over chicken.
Put olive oil in casserole dish,
add carrots,celery and onion.
Heat a grill or grill pan hot,
place chicken on grill or grill pan
cook to get grill marks on both sides.
Place chicken in the casserole dish
on top of the vegetables.
Place orange slices all over chicken.
Cover with aluminium foil and bake
in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes,
remove foil and continue baking 10 minutes.
