Pickle Jar Hard Cooked Eggs

Here you will find the frugal side of me.
After finishing the pickles out of a
store bought pickle jar I was left with the juice.
To throw the pickle juice out would be a sin
so I came up with doing this.

Ingredients:
6 large eggs
pickle juice from jar
water to cover eggs in pan

Directions:
Put the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan,
covered by at least an inch or two of cold water.
Gently bringing the eggs to a boil.
As soon as the water starts to boil,
remove the pan from the heat, cover
and let sit for 12 minutes.
The eggs should be done perfectly at 10 minutes.
Drain hot water and run cold water over eggs to cool them.
remove from pan when cool enough to peel.
The best way to peel a hard-boiled egg is to
tap both ends on a hard surface,
breaking the shell on both ends and then
laying the egg on its side on the hard surface,
simply and quickly rolling it gently but firmly
against the hard surface which causes many,
many tiny and larger cracks to form through the shell
and then it's ready for easy peeling.

After peeling the eggs place them
in the pickle jar with pickle juice.
They will keep for months and you will have
a fresh supply of pickled eggs
for your potato salads all the time.
