The best way to make stuffed green bell peppers
is to bake them in an oven for about an hour.
One day I was short on time and tried to cook
them in the microwave oven. After cleaning them
I placed the peppers in a glass dish to steam them.
Filled them with left cover rice and meatloaf.
They were good enough considering it only took
about ten minutes from start to finish.
Here's a recipe for an authentic cooked
in the oven stuffed green bell peppers.

1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil
2 teaspoons salt, divided

1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 pounds lean ground beef or chuck
1 cups cooked long-grain rice

Place peppers in a large pot, cover with water.

Drain peppers and set aside.
In a large skillet heat olive oil and butter medium heat until hot.
Sauté chopped onion, and chopped celery for about 5 minutes,
