Maple Hill Chili

Ingredients:
1 1/4 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
4 Slices Bacon, Diced
1 Heaping Teaspoon Garlic
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Medium Green Bell Pepper, Coarsely Chopped
1 Can (14.5 Ounces) Petite Diced Tomatoes, Undrained
1 Can (10.5 Ounces) French Onion Soup
1 Package Chili Seasoning Mix
1 Can (15.5 Ounces) Dark Red Kidney Beans, Drained
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Directions:
Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain fat.Set aside. Cook bacon in same skillet on medium-high heat until crisp.
Add garlic; cook and stir 30 seconds. Add bell pepper;
cook and stir 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, soup and Seasoning Mix;
bring to boil. Stir in meat, beans, maple syrup and cinnamon.
Bring to low boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer,
uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.Cover.
Simmer 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
