Butter Stewed Potatoes

Sometimes the simplist recipe is one of the best.
Stewed potatoes are nothing but peeled and boiled
then dressed in melted butter.
If you add some roasted garlic to the pot,
They are addictive!

Ingredients:
6-8 med sized potatoes
1 stick butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
Fill a pot half full with cold water and salt.
Peel potatoes and cut into thick slices.
Add to water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork tender.
Drain potatoes in a colander.
Place back into pot and add butter and salt.
Stir and allow butter to melt. Serve warm.
