This is a great recipe for grilled wings.
By marinating them in soy sauce the wings
turn a nice color of brown and taste great.
Try and use low-salt soy sauce in this recipe.
This Asian-American marinade permeates the
wings and creates a savory crispness as they grill.
I'm making myself hungry just thinking about them.
Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken wings,cut into 2 parts,
3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
1/3 cup low-salt or lite soy sauce
3 tablespoon dry sherry or rice wine
2 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
1 piece fresh ginger root, chopped 1-inch
3 green scallions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoon Asian, (toasted) sesame oil
1 spicy Asian peanut dip (optional)
Directions:
Combine chicken wings with the next 7 ingredients.
Place in a plastic bag on a dish to prevent any leaks
that may happen, and let sit in refrigerator
for at least an hour or up to 3 days.
Turn every so often during marinating.
Grill over an open fire or broil until crisp.
