Bisquick Battered and
Baked Buffalo Wings

This is a recipe for oven baked buffalo wings
using Bisquick baking mix for the crispy wings.
I first marinated the chicken wings overnight
then battered them and baked them crunchy.

Ingredients:
1 cup cayenne pepper sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon sweet smoked paprika
24 chicken wings, tips cut off
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup Original Bisquick baking mix
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Blue cheese dressing

Directions:
In a small bowl make marinade by stirring together hot sauce,
sweet smoked paprika, brown sugar and garlic powder.
Put chicken wings in a sealable plastic bag,
pour marinade in bag with wings.
Seal bag, place in bowl and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Melt butter or margarine in a foil lined sheet pan in oven.
In a mixing bowl combine Bisquick mix, onion powder,
black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Remove chicken wings from bag and discard sauce.
Coat chicken with Bisquick mixture.
Place in single layer in baking sheet.
Bake 25 minutes. Turn and bake an additional
20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is golden brown.
remove from oven and salt to taste.
Serve with celery stalks and blue cheese dressing.
