Cheesy Mashed Potato Bake

Here is a recipe for oven baked mashed potatoes.
Sometimes I top this with crubled potato chips.

Ingredients:
4 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
6 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups instant mashed potato flakes
8 oz. package Velveeta cheese

Directions:
In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the milk,
water, butter and salt to a boil.
Stir in the cheese until melted.
Stir in the potato flakes and remove from heat.
Pour mixture into a 2 quart baking dish
and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
