The sauce for these meatballs is prepared with
tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce
and Tabasco. Buttery Ritz crackers are great.

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef 85/15
1/2 cup Ritz cracker crumbs
1 small onion, peeled and chopped fine
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce:
1 small can tomato soup
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup white distilled vinegar
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco hot sauce to taste
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Mix ground beef, cracker crumbs, egg, onion, thyme, salt and pepper.
Form into 1 inch meatballs and brown on all sides in 1 tsp oil.
Remove and add to a slow cooker or roasting pan.
Drain oil from pan then add tomato soup, sugar, vinegar,
soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and water.
Stir until well blended then add to meatballs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour,
or in a slow cooker all day on low heat.
