Fresh is the best in this great tasting
broccoli and vegetable garden salad.
Ingredients:
4 cups small broccoli florets, sliced in half if too big
1/4 cup thinly vertically sliced red onion
1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
1/4 cup raisins (golden or regular)
2 Tbsp sliced almonds, toasted
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 slice bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 tsp olive oil
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients (through bacon) in a large bowl.
Whisk together vinegar, sugar and oil in a small bowl.
Pour over broccoli; toss gently to coat.
