This meat sauce is made with ground beef,
allspice, onions and other seasonings that
makes a hot dog sauce everyone will like!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup water, about
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped fine
2 tablespoons ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teasppon black pepper
Directions:
In a soup pot on high heat,add water,
bring to a boil and add onion, stirring.
Cook for a few minutes the add all dry seasonings.
Cook and stir to combine.
Add beef chopping it up a bit, and vinegar.
Cook for 10 minutes, stirring.
You can add a can of diced tomatoes
if desired now, but I like it plain.
Lower heat and simmer for one hour.
Remove to a food processor and pulse
to get your desired hot dog sauce consistancy.
Return to pot and keep warm until ready to serve.
Cover, refrigerate or freeze.
