I'm fairly experienced with making ice cream.
Even making some doing the whole cook the eggs thing.
Coming up with a recipe for making some homemade ice cream
without cooking the eggs seemed like a good idea.
You might say I cheated using store bought eggnog, oh well!
I knew the recipe I made needed to be tinkered with a little.
First there was too high a ratio of milk and eggnog
to cream which I knew could make this a little icy or grainy,
so I adjusted it here and came up with a simple eggnog ice cream.
Ingredients:
1 cup store bought eggnog
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
Once you have frozen your ice cream machines mixing bowl.
Mix the eggnog, whipping cream, milk and vanilla in a bowl,
and pour the mixture into the freezen container of an ice cream maker.
Turn machine on and churn for about twenty minutes.
Remove and cover tightly, freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Once frozen, serve and enjoy.

Sounds to me like you really know what you're doing.
I've just started making home made ice cream with a White Mountain hand crank machine and the kids think it's awesome.
If you don't make your own ice cream you should give it a try. Here's an interesting article I found that might be helpful to folks thinking about making their own.
