Party Cocktail Meatballs
in a Rich Chili Sauce

This is a simple recipe to create small glazed meatballs.
They are sweet, juicy and addictive, everyone will like
these enough to drive them crazy wanting more and more.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef 85/15
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup milk
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
1/4 cup vegetable oil
12 fluid ounces tomato-based chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly

Directions:
In a bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, onion,
milk, egg, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and ground pepper.
Using your hands, blend well and form into meatballs.
Heat oil pan over medium heat. Add meatballs one by one.
Use cooking thongs for easy turning and picking the balls.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned. Drain on paper towels.
Pour chili sauce and jelly into the pan over low heat.
Continue stirring until jelly is melted.
Return meatballs to the pan.
Carefully turn over and over until whole balls are coated.
Do not cover pan. Simmer for 30 minutes, on very low heat.
Serve glistening hot and arranged on a shallow platter.
Provide toothpicks to skewer meatballs.
