Peaches Baked with Cocoa
Suger Baked Cocoa Peaches

This is a quick and delicious summer dessert.
A great way to use up some of those fresh peaches.
Don't be fooled by look of the finished peaches.
This is a winner in the taste department!

Ingredients:
4 Medium sized fresh peaches
8 Amaretti cookies
2 Tablespoons bitter cocoa
1 Tablespoons sugar
2 Ounce un-sweetened butter
1/2 Cup water

Directions:
Cut the peaches in half, remove the pit but do not remove the skin.
Place them in a low oven pan with the cut side facing up.
Crunch the cookies in small pieces.
Mix them with the sugar and the cocoa.
Cover each peach with the cookie mix.
Add a bit of butter on each peach.
Pour the water into the pan
and add a teaspoon of cocoa.
Bake for 25 minutes at 390 degrees F.
Cool the peaches and serve.
