This is a recipe for a tomato based sauce
that can be used on chicken, fish and even
barbequed hamburgers.It's just sweet enough with
the correct amount of spice to add that extra bite.
Ingredients:
1/4 tsp garlic (powder)
1/4 c of onion; chopped
1 tsp of salt
1/4 c of bell pepper (green); chopped
2 tsp parsley; chopped
1/2 c of rice; cooked
2/3 c of water
1/4 tsp basil leaf (dried); crushed
1/4 c of ketchup
1/2 tsp beef bouillon
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsps of chili sauce
Direcctions:
Sauce:
Set the saucepan in medium (low) heat.
Place all the ingredients and heat until sauce is thick.
For hamburgers:
Mix pepper (green), onion, rice, seasoning and parsley.
Include the ground beef, stir well and divide into
four patties (large) at one inch thick.
Put over a grill, for fifteen minutes on one side.
Flip patties and cook for fifteen minutes more.
